Hey, there! Get to know a little bit about me…

I’m Autumn.

I’m deeply in love with my soon-to-be husband, Jake, and together we’re raising our three little ones while slowly working toward the dream of building a home of our own.

Creativity has always been a part of who I am. As a child, I carried a little point-and-shoot Polaroid and digital Canon with me, photographing all the pretty things that caught my eye. I still remember my first “real” photoshoot with my cousin and her boyfriend, now husband. I loved creating a vision, directing them, and seeing an idea come to life. As a teenager, I was always convincing my friends to join me for little photoshoots simply because I loved the process of creating. Whether through painting, oil pastels, poetry, baking, or photography, making has always been a state of being I naturally return to.

My grandfather is one of the reasons photography became so meaningful to me. He carried a camera everywhere, quietly documenting family dinners, conversations, children playing, and the ordinary moments that often pass by unnoticed. When he passed away, those photographs became some of our most treasured possessions. They didn’t just show us what life looked like, they brought us back to how it felt.

That is what makes me fall in love over and over again with photography. I adore preserving the beauty found in everyday life, creating photographs that grow more meaningful with time, the images that allow us to return to the people, places, and moments we hold close.

I have a degree in psychology and counselling, in 2019-2023 I was a holistic doula, I home birthed my two youngest children (some of my favourite memories and the best experiences), one of my favourite books is The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath… I actually have a tattoo of my favourite part in the book! I’m a huge book nerd, I just adore a good classic novel. I am also a stay-at-home mum, and it’s the best job I will truly ever have!

Some funs facts…

My approach blends documentary photography with an editorial eye, creating photographs that feel nostalgic, artful, yet organic. I want each image to feel like a frame from a film, a glimpse into a life, a relationship, or a moment in time.

Before we ever pick up a camera, I want to know you. Your values, the details that shape your world, the people and places that matter most, and what you hope to hold onto. For creative sessions, this means understanding your vision, the atmosphere you want to create, and the ideas that inspire you.

During your session, I offer thoughtful direction while leaving space for spontaneity, personality, and the natural rhythm between people. Whether we are documenting motherhood, childhood, love, or a creative pursuit, my goal is to create photographs that feel intentional yet lived-in, images that reflect the connection, character, and atmosphere of the moment.
