The Artist Behind the Lens

I’m Autumn, a film photographer based in Sussex, New Brunswick.

I see photography as a visual form of poetry. It’s noticing and translating what I see, to preserve the feeling of a moment through light, composition, and connection.

Working with film allows me to move slowly, to observe deeply, to create and capture images with intention (I only have 36-exposures on a roll of film, after all!).

My work is rooted in the beauty of connection. In the way we relate to one another, to nature, to light, and to the world around us.
